چکیده

Spin and charge fluctuations and superconductivity in Na0.35CoO2·1.3H2O are studied based on a multi-orbital Hubbard model. By applying the fluctuation exchange (FLEX) approximation, we show that the Hund’s-rule coupling between the Co t2g orbitals causes ferromagnetic spin fluctuation. Triplet pairing is favored by this ferromagnetic fluctuation on the hole-pocket band. We propose that, in Na0.35CoO2·1.3H2O, Co t2g orbitals and inter-orbital Hund’s-rule coupling play important roles on the triplet pairing, and this compound can be a first example of the triplet superconductor mediated by inter-orbital-interaction-induced ferromagnetic fluctuation.

Longitudinal spin fluctuations and superconductivity in ferromagnetic ZrZn2 from Ab initio calculations.

The recent discovery of superconductivity coexisting with weak itinerant ferromagnetism in the d-electron intermetallic compound ZrZn2 strongly suggests spin-fluctuation mediated superconductivity. Ab initio electronic structure calculations of the Fermi surface and generalized susceptibilities are performed to investigate the viability of longitudinal spin-fluctuation-induced spin-triplet supe...

Superconductivity in the Orbital Degenerate Model for Heavy Fermion Systems

Magnetism and superconductivity of new heavy fermion compounds CeTIn5 (T=Co, Rh and Ir) are investigated by applying fluctuation exchange approximation to an orbital degenerate Hubbard model. The superconducting phase with dx2−y2 -symmetry is found to appear next to the antiferromagnetic phase with increasing the orbital splitting energy. The present theory suggests that the orbital splitting e...

Spin-fluctuation exchange study of superconductivity in two- and three-dimensional single-band Hubbard models

In order to identify the most favorable situation for superconductivity in the repulsive single-band Hubbard model, we have studied instabilities for d-wave pairing mediated by antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations and p-pairing mediated by ferromagnetic fluctuations with the fluctuation exchange approximation in both two dimensions and three dimensions. By systematically varying the band filling...

Origin of the non-monotonic variance of Tc in the 1111 iron based superconductors with isovalent doping

Motivated by recent experimental investigations of the isovalent doping iron-based superconductors LaFe(AsxP1-x)O1-yFy and NdFe(AsxP1-x)O1-yFy, we theoretically study the correlation between the local lattice structure, the Fermi surface, the spin fluctuation-mediated superconductivity, and the composition ratio. In the phosphides, the dXZ and dYZ orbitals barely hybridize around the Γ point to...

Superconducting and ferromagnetic phase diagram of UCoGe probed by thermal expansion

We report thermal expansion measurements on a single crystal of the superconducting ferromagnet UCoGe for magnetic fields applied along the main orthorhombic axes. The thermal expansion cell was mounted on a piezoelectric rotator in order to fine-tune the magnetic field angle. The superconducting and magnetic phase diagram has been determined. With our bulk technique we confirm the S shape of t...
